Synthesis of multidimensional filter banks with even support
The main features of multidimensional non-separable multirate systems with perfect reconstruction and linear phase properties are investigated. For different types of symmetry all possible combinations of filter sizes were found, including those with even support. Generalized multidimensional non-separable transform was developed that allows building of multidimensional filter banks with even support. Examples of these filter banks are given.
