Boundary conditions and calculation of surface stresses in numerical models of natural streams
The interrelation between the model of motions with shear and hydraulic model of the river flow was addressed. A consistent definition of bottom stresses and the expression for calculation of consistent drag coefficient was derived. Boundary conditions at the free surface are discussed in terms of physical correctness and energy flow balance within the system
