The Database for the diagnosis and forecasts of the atmospheric conditions above territory of Ukraine and Azov-Black sea basin

Hydrometeorological Center of the Black and Azov seas (Odessa, Ukraine) is regularly receiving the data of the objective analysis and forecasts of meteorological fields on main isobaric surfaces, prepared by British Meteorological Service with the help of hydrodynamic model of a high level of resolution, 0.56 and 0.83 degree on longitude and latitude, respectively. All materials are represented in GRIB codes, then decoded and stored in the database. The obtained materials will be utilized in compilation of the operating meteorological forecasts for the purposes of control of navigation safety on the Black and Azov seas and for various scientific and applied tasks. They include also testing of hydrodynamic mesoscale model of an atmospheric boundary layer in operating conditions.
