Numerical method validation for modeling of long waves runup on a coast

The numerical method of the modelling of a long waves runup on a coast is investigated. The purpose of the work consists in the method validation and estimation of its accuracy using numerical experiments. The model problem of long wave runup on a uniform slope having the analytical solution within the framework of the nonlinear equations of shallow water is considered as test problem.
