Solving control system stabilization problem based on constructing projections of stability region

The simple visual procedure is suggested for solving the control system stabilization problem. It is based on constructing projections of multidimensional stability region on the subspaces of controllable system parameters. The user can visually observe the acceptable range of controllable parameters and directly control the values of parameters. The procedure allows the creation of a set of alternative solutions. Robust solutions satisfying the requirements for system dynamics and another system performances can be chosen from this set. The application of procedure to the state feedback stabilization of overturned pendulum is presented as an example.
