On development of Internet network in Novosibirsk Researche Centre

The paper deals with the analysis of the projects implemented by the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the support of the Russian Foundation of Fundamental Research, and Soros foundation aimed at creation and support of the Internet system of the Novosibirsk Research Center. The problems connected with the further development o telecommunication, network and informational infrastructure in Novosibirsk Research infrastructure are considered as well as its role in the development of the Center itself.
