The editors draw the attention of authors to changes regarding the format of LaTeX files of manuscripts submitted for publication.

Here you see an electronic version of the journal “Computational Technologies”, first issue of which was published in 1996. Increasing role of informational technologies in our world make us pay more attention to this part of human activity. In our journal we suppose to publish reviews and original articles on the following subjects of applied mathematics: mathematical models of continuous media, numerical and analytical methods for mathematical physics equations, application software packages and complexes, computer technologies (networks, data bases etc.). We are going to publish results of both fundamental and applied researches.

Precursor of this journal is collection of works with the same name, that was being published in 1992-1995. 13 publications from this collection were popular among readers and writers. Apart from original articles this collection also had selected works written by members of regular conferences and seminars including international ones, that were carried out by FRC ICT. This tradition will be continued in our journal.

We hope that this journal will be interesting and useful for scientists working in different fields of mathematical modelling, informational technologies and overlapping fields and we invite all our readers to cooperation.
